Guy looked average, I'm not impressed. Cotto, Lara and even Canelo easily beats him.

I have watched this guy alot and have seen him fight live in person before,,,,

He is talented and is 50/50 vs any of the top 154 guys,,,

at best he will have a chad dawson type career, or clinton woods,,

at worst he will have a luis collazo, cintron type career,,,

I dont feel he will ever be the next big thing in boxing,, No knock on him, but its just really really hard to be on the oscar, floyd, manny level,,,,,,

I really want to see him vs lara,,,, that is the fight to make at 154 IMO

I watched a lot of Dirrell he was my guy of that crop, I think Andrade is capable of similar stuff hopefully more considering how Dirrell turned out.
Dirrell was a better talent then Andrade bro..He also hit far harder..

Right now I'd say Dirrell was the better fighter,Andrade is young and is still growing so we'll see what happens..IMO tho,Dirrell is more talented and has more dimensions to his fight game..

Of course Dirrell his harder he is way bigger in every way thus could generate more force.

I think they have the exact same dimensions to their game and their talent level is comparable. I also think both share a similar mindset in that they come to win pleasing the crowd is just a bonus. There are some differences in that I think Andrade is a bit more willing to be offensive, thus gives up his height more so him getting caught is more likely.

Oh and btw,I know Dirrell Career has been disappointing..I would just say tho,Dirrell got hit while down..I know a lot of people like to down play this, but that is serious..I believe this played with his mind..Dirrell was one of the best fighters in his div before this..Was also clearly on his way to doing some good things in his career..

Agree with this and your following post. Andrade will need to milk 154 for all he can because he matches up better with some of the guys there. He's a solid puncher but i wouldnt say he can crack even at 154. He matches up well with many and as long as he avoids certain dudes he can move up in a few years when the chaos dies down at 160. Maybe if he can get a molina fight and tip toe around Lara/Angulo/Kirkland/Canelo/Trout/Cotto he'll do okay (thiugh a Trout fight could be interesting and Angulo too). Watching Vanes quit on himself last night was awful especially in the 12th. But as of now there's guys at 154 who do what he can do better. His size will def help though... I don't like him vs the current 160 pounders though... Probably none of the guys with names there would be worried. Macklin, Lee, Rosado, Stevens*, Murray, Sturm, Geale, Jleon, Jacobs, Rubio..etc..Id probably favor every single one over him at 160 and those arent even the champs. I hope they don't try to push him too fast..I'd like to see him fight one or two more people before I'd hve a better idea of how he fares against the better fighters there.

Like NE said, there's some Chad Dawson there (though not as powerful).

I see a bit of Peterson too but maybe thats my inner ****** memory speaking.

I don't see it..Reflex wise,Dirrell seems far better..Overall speed ,Dirrell seems far better..Movement in the ring,Dirrell seems to be far better..

Put it like this,if both guys were in the same weight class at the same time,Dirrell would be looked at as the better overall fighter bro..I seen a lot of Dirrell(against top level comp)and have not seen enough of Andrade against top level guys..Maybe your right, but from what I've seen so far..Dirrell is a far better talent,he also has a better ring I.Q.

I think they would be similarly thought of, with a lot of people saying that is a boring fight.

I am high on Andrade but I was high on Dirrell also, now Andrade is not a carbon copy of Dirrell there are differences but they do have a lot of similarities and I find their talent comparable.

Andrade still has a lot to prove and he might not be what I think he is but he has a pretty bright future even if he falls a bit short of what I think.

He is good but he is not the future of boxing like some people have claimed, at all. He is a KO waiting to happen. He was lucky Vanes didn't pressure him harder with combintations because he would've went down again.
