Why would anyone want to see Cotto lose 9, 10 or 11 rounds out of 12 again?

Just like JMM. Does anyone want to see JMM get beat every second of every round again?

Bob just using Floyd's name to promote Cotto. I'm sure old Bobby has an entire agenda lined up for Cotto. I wouldn't be surprised if he keeps Cotto far away from Floyd while trying to feed the media that Floyd is now all of a sudden scared of guy he already beat.

Cotto Alvarez is the fight that needs to happen and we all know Bob won't allow such a thing, reminiscent of Mayweather Pac. At least Bob has come completely clean and states that fights won't happen for obvious promotional issues.

He's not serious about it. Just using Floyd's name. Bob knows Floyd would embarrass Pac and in return embarrass him. He has too much pride to let Floyd in the ring with his golden goose while making him look like a hype job. Bob would rather feed the media BS hoping that it will negatively effect Floyd.

Like I said years ago, Bob Arum who's been in the game for decades is the one that makes or breaks a fight. Nobody knows or understand boxing better than him. If he wants something, he WILL get it even if he has to break the law. However there are certain things that he doesn't want as the long term investment would be effected. Why expose the hype by feeding Pac to Floyd early on? Bob can milk the **** out of Pac while appearing to want/make the fight for years and then in the end make it happen to cash out.

Bob's clever and he's not being serious here. However like Floyd, he sees an opening he will take it. Bob took a shot that was open but because it's Cotto we all know the shot is cheap because Floyd already beat him.

Cotto goes back to Top Rank, Arum says Floyd's ducking a rematch.

          Thank you Bob Arum.

Why wouldn't Floyd take a Cotto 2 fight how he looked after Cotto's last fight. Miguel looked extremely good in that last fight and gave Floyd plenty of trouble in their first altercation. The money will be there but if Floyd wants Khan at Wembley and puts it on CBS, that fight will get the go-ahead because you can add to Floyd's legacy that he brought over-the-air broadcast television back to Boxing. That's huge even if it's a mismatch, then he can fight Cotto after his next fight then look at Martinez and probably Broner or Garcia for his 49th fight. I feel Mayweather might be saving Pacquiao for his 50th fight if... It can get to that point.

I don't think Mayfeather will have any excuse not to go for this fight. Cotto is a free agent. The money is there. Except he'll probably demand a catchweight this time around.

If you're a real boxing fan, why wouldn't you want a rematch?

The really funny thing isn't Arum saying it (although it should make boxing fans chuckle), after all that is pretty much his job to promote his guys and I don't blame him for using a top guy whom he helped build getting back some of the investment he got played on.

What is really funny is that people will buy what he is selling~
