Kovalev vs Fonfara would be fireworks and he's coming off some decent wins. He can't beat Sergey, but that's kinda the point with this kind of card. Make him look like a beast.

Superman vs Kovalev next sounds good to me. Don't sleep on Adonis in that one...

B hop makes both look foolish. Stevenson is severely overrated

Finally the news I've been waiting for.

Not sure he has a choice. Bellew is his mandatory and depending on how long his contract is with HBO, if HBO wants Kovalev-Adonis after this then I don't know what he can do besides accept.

I think it's going to be Fonfara or Alvarez. You really can't ask for more in his first defense as a "tune up" for a Stevenson fight. Both guys are ranked, Alvarez is undefeated and Fonfara is a top 15 LHW.

If it's Fonfara that's not a bad fight. He's a top 15 fighter in the division IMO and coming off a win against Campillo.

I bet Artur Beterbiev will be on this card as well. He could actually be a future opponent for both depending on how quickly they move him and how long Adonis and Kovalev stick around

If he lets them hit him with their best, perhaps. The guy's pretty decent with his defense, though.

I think that Dan Rafael said that Sillakh is the leading contender for Kovalev's opponent. Alvarez makes more sense given the location though.

Hopkins gets knocked out by both - IDK. a lot of people thought Bhop would get knocked out by Trinidad, Tarver, Pavlik - his defense is right up there with mayweather's as the greatest of this generation.
He could get KO'd - but to say it will happen - u gotta give the guy a little more respect than that - esp considering he hasn't gotten knocked out - EVER
