So this is the day they are picking for Cotto's funeral. At least he will have all of his Boricuas there to send him off. Nah but seriously though. Cotto is not beating Sergio Martinez. Arum is looking to cash out on him because Ol Bob would not talk about or try to make a fight like this before. Martinez wanted this fight for a long time though so if it happens then good for him. Cotto is getting KO'd.

I'm getting the sense that guys are not gonna give Cotto much credit for fighting Sergio at middleweight. That's really crazy IMO. I've been hearing calls for Sergio vs GGG, Ward and even Floyd.

Give Sergio credit for being smart and seeing the easy fight and win over a slow little battered Cotto. Lopsided Sergio win and a huge Cotto loss. especially at 160lbs.

Look at like this, everybody wins..... Cotto gets a crack at the mw title, Sergio gets paid and fights a future hall of famer, uncle bob gets paid And the fans get a great fight.

yeah but Molina ain't got no fan base either and is the P4P most boring fighter in the game right now. That's who Canelo might fight next and IMO he should fight Lara.

Cotto should and will get credit for taking Sergio Martinez on but it won't help him when Sergio beats the crap and stops Cotto. Boxing fans nowadays just be all over the place. Sergio needed to heal from his leg injury longer before fighting Murray. They made a huge mistake trying to capitalize off of the Chavez win and not taking into account the night of the Murray fight that the ring was wet and slippery.

One not so stellar performance and now Martinez is past it? Dude has been KO'in MW's and took a flush shot from big ass Chavez Jr, got up and kept fighting. This is the same guy who put Paul Williams to sleep and out jabbed a certified jabber in Sergei Dzinziruk. Happens in boxing that a fighter doesn't always look great in every fight but there's no way Cotto beats Sergio Martinez. Cotto is going to sleep. Cotto is like 5'7" and Martinez is 5'10" and hits like a brick. The height and reach of Trout was a problem for Cotto and now all of a sudden Cotto beats Martinez at Middleweight?
