A year ago I would pick sergio over cotto in the blink of an eye but it seems like he is falling apart physically, hes had surgery after chavez and then another after murray. The size might still be too much though cotto is a welter, although his balls are super heavyweight.

He was destroyed by Margarito and Pacquiao. He took punishment in several other fights. He's too small and has no defence. Sergio's sharp punches will slice his face to shreds. Beating Edwin Rodriguez isn't convincing me that Cotto is back.

I respect Cotto for taking tough fights but I will say that this fight has been there for him for years and it is quite convenient that he's only interested now after Sergio lost to Murray
