Povetkin should have never been called the heavyweight champion, but he's still a really good fighter.

Pov is the second best heavyweight in the world and has the skills to be a great in any era of boxing. It was a great win for the champ, but I agree Povetkin has a lot left to offer the division.

Haye out landed Wlad with powershots

Also found a way to diffuse the leaning, I wish Pov wud have done the same, just fall to his knees, no point of trying to carry this big guys weight

He didn't get knocked down, his face was broken up and he was in the fight right to round 12

Wlad totally dominated Pov unlike he did Haye
He didn't find a way to do anything against the Lean, Wlad just didn't attempt it. Pov kept coming in, so Wlad leaned on him. Haye ran around the ring all night, he had no reason to lean.

He didn't lose to Huck but didn't look great either. You can blame the di****able Teddy Atlas for refusing to train him and throwing his camp in turmoil. Best thing he did was get rid of Atlas.

He looked absolutely no different in the Wlad fight. I had Huck up by 2 rounds, many people did. It was arguable, and many favor Huck as the victor. Nothing amazing about Pov at all, people are seriously reaching here.

Haye would hurt him, badly. No way is that fight anywhere near 50/50, he's too easy to hit and the short hook from Wlad in the second round shows that Haye would do a lot more than just shatter his equilibrium.

He did lose to a cruiserweight. We know why Teddy Atlas kept him away from Klitschko all that time, he isn't that good!

But by todays standards he is still top ten.

                  Please be a troll thread?

You were impressed by a fat, slow bum who allowed a 7 foot man to repeatedly mount him without doing anything about it?

We never really got to see what Povetkin could do as he was bearhugged all night.

One thing I don't like about him is that he's not willing to take on all-comers. We'll never see him in a ring with Chisora, Fury or any of the other top HW contenders.
