and post Cus Damato Kevin Rooney Tyson was the same guy. Prime Tyson Ko's him within 3.
When it comes to Tyson, his fans have always 1000 excuses for him, "Cuz died" , "his pigeon died". Guy was exciting to watch no doubt about that but he was and still is the biggest hype job in the history of this sport.
Tyson is possibly the most overrated heavyweight of all time casual fans realy bought into the media hype "baddest man on the planet" BS. In reality his best win was against an over weight scared Larry Holmes.
Wlad on the other hand is very much underrated.
If Tyson dosent K.O Wlad by the 5th he gets worn out and stopped late on.
Wlad would Jab him to hell and frustrate him before stopping him with a missile like Right
Wlad KO 5
I don't agree. I like both Klitschkos but am always as factual as I can be. My opinion is that Klitschko would not be able to jab Tyson to death as you say, Tyson was always far to evasive with some of the best head and upper body movements I've seen. And wbilst being so, he would step in close and let his fists go with a bewildering array of rapid, lethal punches.
Whenever this matchup is mentioned, I always think of Klitschko's fight with unbeaten 27-0 Calvin Brock, the one who was a banker turned pro fighter. I think that Klitschko KOd him with a single right hand in about the 7th rd, but rignt up to the 6th, he had been jabbing and throwing rights pretty consistently and they nearly all were evaded. Brock, if I recall, would bend forward and Klitschko's gloves would either miss or slide down along his back and Klitschko looked baffled. As soon as Brock relaxed a bit, Klitschko caught him with a couple of right hands and put him away.
Tyson was far, far too evasive for Klitschko to be able to get into the jabbing rhythm he needed.
There's a different side to it of course. With Tyson's short reach he'd have to come close and Klitschko could wrap his hands around him and Tyson has shown that he doesn't make too much effort to get out of clinches. But he was devastating at very close range and could easily get off a couple of killer punches-say uppercuts- before Klitschko would be able to grab him. But again, grabbing him wouldn't be scoring points.
Klitschko only learned to grab and d**** when he went to Emanuel Steward a la Lennox Lewis. Before that time he was an offensive destruction machine. It was the Brewster defeat and his brother's urging to retire which made him more determined, and I recall his first fight after the Brewster mystery was against a fighter whose record I think was around 17-18-0 (maybe named Castillo). It was pathetic to see Klitschko try to so awkwardly clinch and tie up. He'd never done it before, but you could see the improvement as he had more fights.
Make no mistake about it, before the Sanders catastrophe, Klitschko was a real killer. Very heavy, fast, accurate and frequent punches; it seemed impossible that any fighter could stand against him.
Khan doesn't have the power, boxing ability or IQ of Wlad and Marquez isn't garbage like Tyson. Bad comparison mate
Wlad would have disposed of him rather easily.
Says the guy who was 12-0 by Mayweather when he came back from a long lay off and took 4 attemts to finally beat PacMan. Atleast Tyson was competitive against Holyfield and Lewis, Marquez couldn't even land a shot on Floyd. How garbage is that?
And how is Tyson garbage compared to Wlad? He was the youngest HW champ, the higest percentage and number for 1 round KO's, a global super star who's name is as big as Ali. Who the fcuk is Wlad?
When it comes to Tyson, his fans have always 1000 excuses for him, "Cuz died" , "his pigeon died". Guy was exciting to watch no doubt about that but he was and still is the biggest hype job in the history of this sport.
Prime Wlad ko's prime Tyson within 6
Atleast Tyson's fans make the excuses, how about the Klitschko's excuses?
'I was poisoned'
'I hurt my shoulder'
'I would have won if Lewis didn't bust up my face'

Prime Wlad ko's prime Tyson within 6
So Wlad not having Manny is a excuse for him getting KO'd but not having Rooney Cus arent valid for Tyson amazing.
