I like Mike in the 1st or 2nd round by tko! Mikes speed will overwhelm Wlad and his first or second step backwards spells his doom.
Wlad is a very awkward mover, very stiff legged and his height would be turned against because of a pressure fighter who fights using pressure all the time. Wlad fights guys just like him who stand in front and look to box. There are NO pressure fighters today especially in the heavyweight division. Thats why Louis, Marciano, Dempsey, Tyson would all have success against a guy who has ordinary talents. Some guys TRY to pressure him when its not in their DNA to be successfull!
A kid like Canelo isn't going to out box Floyd and this slow footed kid Wlad fought stuggled to try and pressure Wlad because its not his style!!!
Mike at his best is better and far more effective than Wlad is at his best!

Which Wladimir? Now or several years ago? Because now he's past prime and I think it's showing.

Prime for Prime, Wlad troubles Tyson early with that jab, reach and height advantage. Tyson would get tied up and frustrated every time he got close.

But ultimately, Wladimir would get caught and his chin would not hold up.

Even as a Wlad fan I have to agree he loses to prime Mike.

Wlad is at his best when he has fighters cooperating with what he is doing at a distance tentative about being hit by him and he always looks uneasy early on before he is sure of himself and his gameplan working while Mike starts so fast looking to get inside ripping opponents with power shot combinations. Wlad I think honestly would be overwhelmed early and stopped.

I'd pick Wlad to win by UD. I can see Wlad fighting exactly the way he did against David Haye, and using clinches a la Povetkin, to neutralise the extra offense Tyson adds. Tyson is much more likely to gas later on in the fight, but even then I don't see Wlad going in for the kill. He doesn't need to

If you watch the Pov fight, Wlads body was there to be punched, every time he slipped the jab he had a chance to go for the body, but for whatever reason he didnt

Tyson would just need one small opening such as that and it'd send shockwaves through Wlads body

Agree. Even poor copy of Wlad - Buster Douglas - did busted Mike. As Manny Steward once said - all who lost to Tyson, did it before entering in the ring, they were intimidated. No way Wlad would have been intimidated by short jumpy guy.

Mike was too fast, too skilled, head movement and footspeed to close the distance was amazing, and mike had one punch power, yet he threw combinations,,
Think about that,,, the dude threw huge power punches in bunches,,,

The fight would go like this,,,
Mike bob-n-weaving his way inside, landing brutal bodyshot, followed by a brutal uppercut, then a left hook, and wlad would be done......

If you think wlad stands a chance vs a prime mike, then you have only watched mike in his latter years vs mcneeley, holyfield, lewis,,, that mike was garbage compared to the young phenom of 86
