Cotto has a chance of beating Hatton's swarming style, he's a good counterpuncher with power - he'd prolly stop Hatton. Otherwise, Hatton wins this by a close decision.

Hi folks this is my first post on this site, but I have lurked here for a minute, and have been impressed with the amount of knowledge that you guy's have on the fight game. Having only seen one of Hatton's fight's (maussa) I was pretty impressed. ****, the only reason why I ordered the fight was because of his suprising win (because of my ignorance)over KT. I've watched several of Cotto's fights, and he has been shaky at times, but i was impressed with his performance over abduleav(sp). Hatton, being prone to cuts, could be in trouble if Cotto stays outside and picks away, but I doubt Hatton is going to give him a chance to breath. Both are good body punchers, slight edge to Cotto because of what I have seen with my own two eye's. Hopefully this fight happens soon. My pick... Cotto TKO in the 10th.

i think Hatton's bodywork will kill Cotto by the 8th round or so, cuz cotto SUCKS A LOT OF WEIGHT to fight at 140

          So does Hatton....lol
Actually, if Cotto can train hard and get a good diet like he had for the Abdullaev fight, then he could come in not too weight drained...He weighed in like 138.5 for that fight and fought beautifully...

o yea ....i totally forgot about that....the only thing is that the two Hatton fights that i have seen, he didn't seem to get tired from the constant pressure like Cotto did in the N'dou fight

If Cotto is having trouble making weight, then the fight needs to happen soon. Hatton is about as strong as they come at 140, and a drained Cotto will have trouble with Hatton, ****, a full strength Cotto will have his hands full.

A lot of fighters suck in weight. How you think they move up so many weights? Cotto is probaly alittle lazy, or distracted. In fact, that is the goal, lose weight to be a weight class champion, or be a good fighter.

IWatchboxing, you're a farce !! It doesn't matter that Cotto "stopped" Maussa 44 seconds earlier. Hatton KNOCKED him out, and Cotto stopped him via cuts. MUCH different circumstances.

He took him out before him. Boxing is a game, a Sport. You win on points, knockouts, and stoppages. Cotto could do wither to Hatton, and him knocking out Maussa wont mean anything esle, so far Cotto is winning in stats.
