  • Comments Thread For: Lewkowicz Lays Out Terms For Magomed vs. Wilder

Currently, Magomed Abdusalamov (18-0, 18KOs) and Deontay Wilder (29-0, 29Kos) are the knockout kings of the heavyweight division. Magomed has never boxed beyond the fifth round and Wilder's opponents have never lasted more than four.

Both fighters, who are both highly ranked, are going to be in action in the coming weeks. Magomed is ranked at number four under the WBC, with Wilder sitting in the number three position. [Click Here To Read More]

Agree with the above. Perez beats Mago for my liking.

Sounds like he's not very interested in that fight at all. I don't blame him, Mago probably gets knocked out quick

Lewkowicz is the big player in town now?

With his impressive roster of B and C level fighters, can dictate the terms to the arguably the #1 promoter in America?

Ok Samson we know you don't want that fight but don't look ****** spouting that garbage to a reporter.

Don't look past perez. Mike Perez is better then anyone Wilder has ever faced though. with 30 fights already he really needs to step up in his next fight or soon

Not that it alters the point but ain't Lewcowicz the spokesman / manager of Maravilla?

Perez - Mago is a big step-up for Mago and should give us an idea of where he really stands in the division. Wilder - Firtha not so much.

Wilder is ranked higher and has the backing of Showtime, GBP, and Al Haymon. Why does Lewkowicz think he can dictate terms to him?

Don't really get the article. Obviously Lewkowicz can't dictate terms (and knows it), but can decide what his fighter does. As far as I can tell it's more like 'Mago ain't going on SHO cos I work with HBO' so if Wilder wants to fight Mago it'll be HBO.

Fair 'nuff really, but don't really get where the author's going, almost like he's trying to be provocative with the title. As far as I know there's been no noise about the two fighting has there?

Yeah, it sorta says; Lewkowicz would like the fight but says it ain't gonna happen.

Utterly pointless article, really. Unless Wilders' been calling out Mago, but I ain't heard anything 'bout that.
