And what happens when the paying fans are no longer interested in watching Crawford?... HBO will no longer showcase his fights and not renew his contract, so yes!....the fans do pay his bills. With performances like that he will remain an undercard fighter. Not that it was bad but for the fact that it wasn't exciting or dramatic.

I like the skills that Crawford shows. He was fighting an unbeaten guy who realized he was in over his head and came to survive. Almost every fighter faces guys you cant look great against. Both are counter punchers and this happens. If he fought Figueroa, it would have been scintillating fight with skills from both sides displayed in a mini-war. It takes two to tango....and in this case, the other guy just tried to keep from getting stopped. The paying fans will get more next time when his opponent is the type who comes to win, not survive.

Everybody from Sweet Pea, to Floyd down to even Rigo finish these caliber of opponents. These are showcase fights and Crawford failed to show out.
He hurt him every time he landed, I don't know if he couldn't create his own offense or if he is just too defensive minded. But yeah hat type of opponent shouldn't have heard he final bell.

Yeah no joke. Good post. Kellerman needs that ****-eating grin wiped off his face. I don't think TC would have a problem getting him outta there...

The Klitschko fight did suck, but it doesn't mean the HBO broadcast crew can act like a bunch of nagging b!tches while a boxer is doing his thing. TC boxed beautifully against a gun-shy, timid boxer. I agree with the first poster, I like watching guys with skills. TC was great, so was Cotto, but HBO and their general attitude has been losing lately. It's depressing to listen to those guys.

Kellerman just ruined the fight for me. he's terrible. degrading the entire division and Klimov for protecting himself. Klimov was totally outclass that was obvious and everybody knew he wasn't a threat coming into the fight.
Kellerman doesn't want an over classed guy to use his boxing skills to defend himself?

about him saying 135 isn't talented? Miguel Vazquez is a really good boxer but too boring for Kellerman and Lampley. Gamboa is still a name at 135 and that'd be a good fight for Crawford. Richard Abril not good enough?

Lampley and Kellerman's love fest of brawls is really killing the network with boxing fans. Roy Jones is the only voice of sanity.

honestly I wish HBO would dump Jim Lampley and Max Kellerman. at this point I'm missing Bob Papa because he's a hell of a lot better than both of those clowns.

Roy Jones, Bob Papa and someone like Antonio Traver would be 100000 times better than those a55-clowns
CO-SIGN 110% I can't stand listening to these guys anymore. HBO needs a fresh start. These guys have been around too long. Their egos are so big they're starting to interfere with how I enjoy a perfectly good fight. Get them outta there. Shoot man, give me Teddy Atlas. Bring back old George Foreman. Heck, put Freddie Roach in there! (jk) Lampley and Kellerman are suffocating the fights they don't deem 'good' enough!!

If u find Crawford boring, then don't watch his fights anymore. That's what I'm gonna do. And if your at the fight, boo! Lol kid got booed out the building last night. Got booed during the Prescott fight too. I don't remember his last fight but that's how u let him and HBO know how u feel about him. If your at home, don't watch. If your at the fight and he's up, go on a LONG piss break and get some beers. Fights still going by the time u get back then just boo!

After the Klinchko fight, Terence Crawford looked like Mike Tyson!! But still he has a way to go before he is ready for a championship.

Only problem with that is, they won't be on TV.

Crawford is right but he should remember that fans, not fighters, pay for their fights. They can't tell fighters how to fight, but can choose not to watch them.
