LOL. Your completely missing my point. Mayweather MADE it by the time he fought those guys. Those weren't showcase fights. They were title defenses.



Every single post fight article calls the fight boring and every major media head talked about how the fight stunk.



No. Because I enjoy watching him and see potential and have been a fan BEFORE he was on HBO. I know the kind of potential he has and don't want to see him blackballed. But since your reading comprehension sucks you don't get what I'm saying.

No. I'm not blaming him. But he's a part of the event and will get the label whether its fair or not.

I know you enjoy slick fighters, as do I. I respect your posting on NSB... I just don't agree with your stance on Crawford being at blame for this showing. You know Crawford and what he brings to the table -- the guy he fought last came to fight and was stopped. He made Prescott cautious and think before he'd decide to move in recklessly throwing bombs like he always does.

Klimov didn't want to engage. So why sit there and bash Crawford?

Dude there was 0 expectation for that guy, he was a patsy brought in to make Crawford look good. He looked good, but it was boring as hell, without a good reason really. The crowd was begging him to spare them like 20 more minutes of that. And he seems just fine with the way it went.

I actually like the guy's personality, very down to earth. And I gave him props for being responsible and smart vs Prescott. But this guy didn't deserve that kind of respect and needed to be taken out, if you're trying to showcase yourself to bigger purses

I agree with "fight your fight" but he had an opponent in there that he should have finished. He didn't have the power to hurt him, he landed single digit punches each round and he knew he couldn't win before the bell ring.

Everybody from Sweet Pea, to Floyd down to even Rigo finish these caliber of opponents. These are showcase fights and Crawford failed to show out.

I'm not bashing him. I just know what he can do in the ring and I don't want to see him end up being blackballed. Top Rank and HBO have a history of shelving slick fighters and if Crawford is in more fights like that he will be next.

I criticized Rigo for that too. But Rigo apologized for that performance became more offensive and went on a rampage.

And that doesn't help your argument because Rigo is being bashed left and right by Top Rank and HBO.
