It was intended for JUYJUY, considering how much merit he gives to amateur fights & what they mean in the pros.

What happens with a lot of amateur stars is that they don't catch on for one reason or another with bigger promoters (style, etc) and they come up a much harder road as a pro as some of the guys they beat in the amateurs. They don't end up with the championships etc but it is not ALWAYS a case of them not having the talent, skill, etc as the guys they beat

No Mike lost several amateur fights icluding 2 to Tillman, 1 to Payne and a stoppage loss to Mike Evans

I also have another loss listed on Tyson's amatuer record and that was when he was DQ'd in the 2nd round against Kimmuel Odum in Nov of 1983 at the US Amatuer Championships in Colorado Springs...

It may or may not be complete, but the bout-by-bout record I have of Tyson's from his amatuer days is 30 wins, 5 losses, with 22 wins by knockout.

Note that Craig Payne was 22 years old whereas Tyson was only 16, and that Payne also beat Holyfield, Lennox and the great Teofilo Stevenson. Also note that Tyson punched Tillman out of the ring in their first fight and that Tillman just ran for his life in their second fight.
