And Ward's 5,000 fans composed of family and friends from Oakland isn't even half of Wlad's 40,000+ fans that show up to his fights.
His fanbase only exists in Germany amongst the same braindead ******s that made Sven Ottke into a national sporting icon.

In this thread we will track the habitual clinchers and pansies in the sport of boxing.
I have come up with a grading scale. Feel free to post and give your opinions. 10 clinches a more in a round and you deserve a point deduction. 4 rounds with 10 clinches or more and you deserve a dq. unfortunately at this time i am not licensed to reverse official verdicts but someday that will be possible.
Compuclinch hall of shame-
#1 Wlad-Povetkin 181 clinches, 12 rounds with 10 or more clinches, DQ pending with the russian athletic commission
Referee sh-itlist-
Luis Pabon-loves long walks on the beach and seeing men clinch nonstop
upcoming clinch-fests to monitor-
hopkins-murat
ward-rodriguez
alexander-tba
Here's hoping this latest technological marvel is adopted and becomes the standard for all boxing sites.
And this from a big Ward fan.

Re-watching Tua vs. Ibeabuchi
These guys just don't seem to want to clinch. 12 whole rounds and nothing but punches?? They could get hurt in there! If only a gentlemanly, safety-first European trainer had educated them on the art of holding, they may have taken advantage of the many clinching opportunities offered to them in competition.
