Not enforcing the rules doesn't help boxings cause...holding has become ridiculous. Last prime example I seem was Deleon Love guy

Someone should count the number of hold-and-hit in the Tszyu - Hatton fight

Round 7 is the most exciting round of the fight thus far with Hopkins managing to pile up 13 clinches in a single round, including one where he pushes Wright to the canvas late in the round.

Harold Lederman continues to complain about Hopkins's marvelous display of the sweet science, and the crowd loudly boos Hopkins, but this just goes to show that the general public has a hard time appreciating greatness.

Hell, even Tesla was hated during his day.

Bernard Hopkins is the Nikola Tesla of boxing.

it's not called clinching when they do it. It's called "skillfully using old veteran tricks", and "implementing the sweet science."

                WOW!

Hopkins pulls off 14 clinches in round 8. Robert Byrd warns him again this round like a ****, though. Apparently he'd rather the fighters do something ****** like throw punches.

                  12 clinches in round 9.

Referee Robert Byrd again warns Hopkins for holding, stating that the next time Hopkins does it he'll take a point away.

So what does Hopkins do after they get separated?

He immediately clinches Wright again and Robert Byrd, being the scared p*ssy he is, doesn't do anything about it.

Hopkins is painting his Mona Lisa here.

                  on the h8erz.

After round 9 the camera zooms in on Marvin Hagler in the crowd who is visibly enjoying every moment of this fight, but probably thinking he should've clinched Tommy Hearns more to make it an even more exciting affair.

Round 10 sees a fight-high total of 16 clinches as finally Winky Wright gets the memo that the more clinches you initiate the more skilled a fighter you are, though I fear it's a little too late for him at this point.

I mean, he spent the whole first half of the fight throwing punches like a p*ssy.

Another 16 clinches in round 11.

Robert Byrd again warns the fighters for holding and implores them to "c'mon and fight!" like an idiot, meanwhile I'm on the edge of my seat over here.
