however you do agree he needs to have a warm up before jumping in the ring with Floyd?

I completely disagree; GBP has way more interest in Khan as a star in the US than they do in Alexander. I'd bet Khan-Mayweather would do a lot better than Alexander-Mayweather on PPV as well. Alexander isn't anybody outside of St Louis.

Saying that, I think Khan is doing to Alexander what Bradley did to Khan. Has to blow him off, because the shot at the big one is coming for him.

I'd be more disgusted with Floyd for fighting Khan. Khan is doing what any fighter would do and that's go for the big payday against Floyd. Khan hasnt done nothing but prove that his chin is made of rose pedals.

Khan is apparently getting the Mayweather fight just for being such a low risk high reward guy.Team Khan, Floyd Sr. and Schaefer are afraid to have Khan fight Alexander or anybody else who can fight even a little bit. They are afraid Khan will lose and blow the Mayweather fight. This the same Khan that trashed Bradley for not fighting him when Bradley was in line to fight Pacquiao and did not want to risk losing to Khan and blowing the Pacquiao fight.

I don't really care because Floyd's going to fight Garcia if he doesn't fight Khan and no one wants to watch that.

I'd like to see a Peterson rematch though. It was a good fight.

How much did that count for v Peterson? Like I said, Alexander is an Al Haymon fighter, Khan needs a KO to win.

              .
I'm saying I want him to fight someone in Dec, even if it's a bum, he needs to keep active and get his feet wet and put some of his new skills/tatics (if he has any) to the test

Al Haymon had nothing to do with the way that went. Khan went to Peterson's hometown a fought Peterson, two east coast judges, and a referee that did him no favors.

While I am very Anti-Haymon, I disagree with people that think Haymon has influence over the judges. It's more of a case of HBO/Showtime+Golden Boy having the influence, and more often than not their interest lies with the Haymon fighter.

That wouldn't be the case in Khan-Alexander. GBP and Showtime would be looking for the Khan win, because they clearly want Khan-Mayweather on PPV. If anything, I'd say Devon needs the knockout. Khan would beat his ass.

I didn't say he did, I was responding to your notion that GBP would pull strings in favour of Khan - they didn't v Peterson. Ref was all over him too.

They were going to give Berto a draw against Karass - a Mexican in Texas. Fight after fight the Haymon fighter was getting the decision.

Khan would be a fool to fight in the US v Alexander ahead of a Mayweather shot, he wouldn't get fair treatment - not from the referee or the judges.

You're free to disagree, but that's it on this, we disagree.

                    1. LOL at someone thinking Frankie's hero is Floyd. Now I've heard everything.
                    2. Regardless if it makes business sense or not Khan is still ducking Alexander. He could easily fight both fights, but he is clearly afraid of Devon at this point.
                    3. In the end it was probably a smart call on his part because Devon was probably stopping Khan.

I really hope it blows up in his face and Floyd decides to fight Garcia or even Cotto.

No way the judges would have mattered in that fight anyway because Khan was getting stopped by Alexander no matter what continent the fight was on.
