    Cotto-Canelo or Cotto-Sergio

Which one would y'all rather see? Both are good IMO and one is probably next up.

I would go for Sergio. Interesting thing about Sergio is that he's not that big of a middleweight. He comes in the ring around 167-168. Canelo has topped at 170+ as a jr mw and even a ww like Ortiz, he came in at 164 vs Floyd. I know ppl might skeptical about Cotto vs a mw but its not a huge mw. It's vs a pretty damn good 1 though.

I like the Sergio fight better. In all honesty, for smart move choice, Martinez makes more sense when you figure he's at the end of his career as well as Cotto pretty much. Canelo is a bit more younger and refresher, and with Cotto's style, it could work into Canelo pretty much. Martinez on the other hand would make for a great fight with Cotto style wise and seeing as how Martinez hasn't looked tip top recently in his win, Cotto could be the man to end it.

Cotto - Maravilla was already in the pipeline. With Cotto having gone over to TR (tho as an indie - Cotto Promos) -'Nelo ain't gonna happen anytime soon.

TBH assuming that Sergio is back up to a decent level of fitness and his reflexes haven't deteriorated further, Maravilla - Cotto makes for the (IMO far) more exciting fight.

For me, whilst 'Nelo is solid with reasonably quick hands I've never really been that excited either by his style or his ability.

Cotto - Maravilla will have Maravilla darting in and out at speed (if he's still capable) with Cotto trying to close him down. Maravillas footwork and ability to slip the trap will probably determine the outcome. Very good fight IMO.

The only downer for me is that if Cotto does beat a faded Maravilla, I don't think he's really deserving of the Hopkins - Trinidad Lineal MW title that goes with the victory. Not when even DiBella has said that Golovkin is the heir apparent.

I wonder if Cotto could be tied into a conditional defence (for enough HBO $s, of course) in the event of him winning? Otherwise I see no reason he doesn't just drop back down again, taking the lineal title with him.

I would love to see Cotto reach for the glory instead of the $$. Canelo just got spanked, he needs to win a fight, maybe against Molina. If they both win, then Cotto/Canelo with the winner fighting Floyd
