canelo drains himself way too much to make 154, hence him having poor stamina, comulative punches is cotto's kryptonite, something canelo does not have

I would favour canelo to win but it seriously will be a close fight at 154 dude

cotto would also have better work rate and stamina, since he will not need to drain himself to make weight

no they did not, they were getting paid or offered 6m+ purses on ppv by top rank, arum built them up, he made them stars, then rightly so they went on their own to cash out instead of sharing it, the start is always the most difficult part, to become a bigger star as you say it, you must be made into one, that is where it is hard for promoters to do which top rank have done time and time again

if manny or floyd started their career and stayed through with gbp, they would not be stars now, gbp are not good enough or smart enough to make stars

Funny how things work out. Cotto was shot after beating Foreman, Margarito, and Mayorga. Now he beats the worst fighter out of all those guys now he's all of a sudden back? Im not here to knock Cotto because I like the guy but you fans are all over the place. Anyways Im down for Cotto vs Canelo or even Cotto vs Floyd II for that matter.

TR is great at matchmaking and making their guys look great as well as WHEN to make those fights. Golden Boy has the marketing on lock, period. Top Rank could certainly use some of Golden Boys PR team because they just know how to expand the appeal of a fighter, not necessarilly make them a better fighter. They've yet to build a star, they are doing well with Canelo but they are going to give him the Vargas treatment in that they put him up against the best too early. Canelo had a lot of fights but against bums, he never should have fought Floyd and instead of fighting WW and JWW's he should have been fighting Lara and other top JMW like Angulo. Nothing would prepare him for Floyd but you don't get better without being challenged.

Floyd vs Canelo had a shelflife of next May any time after that you had the excuse is Floyd to old and that would take away from a Canelo win. They seemed to be doing oK with Broner & Danny Garcia,Santa Cruz,Mares.
