    The two fighters Miguel Cotto was asked about following his technical knockout win over Delvin Rodriguez were the same two fighters Cotto had been asked about beforehand: former junior-middleweight titleholder Canelo Alvarez and middleweight champion Sergio Martinez.

    Regarding Canelo: “For that fight to occur, Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions would have to sit down and talk about it,” Cotto said at the post-fight press conference. “It’s not closing doors, but we need to talk about it.”

    Top Rank and Golden Boy have not been working with each other for some time due to their ongoing promotional “cold war.” Nevertheless, Todd duBoef of Top Rank said that wouldn’t necessarily preclude a fight between Cotto and Canelo. [Click Here To Read More]

      GBP and Showtime screwed up big time this summer Cotto felt disrespected by Golden Boy and Showtime when they decline Bundrage as an opponent and wanted to force their way and pick his opponent.

          Finally Casper is doing a good thing. The more TR/GB can talk for the big fights the better.

          Canelo/Casper is a big fight.

              Like Todd said Cotto isn't under contract with Top Rank. No way he says at a press conference after the fight I'm done with Top Rank and HBO.

                      After the whole Bundrage situation I doubt Cotto works with Espinoza.

                              cotto knows what is what now, top rank builds stars like manny, cotto, oscar, floyd and so on while golden boy destroys them by feeding them
