Cotto is done. Knocking out Delving Rodriguez and Sergio doesn't change that.

He got schooled by Mayweather (no shame in that) and got beat clearly by Trout.

Cotto has never looked great above 147 and will get ruined against a real JMW. The 'lineal' middleweight champion is fighting Geale at a catchweight
Canelo arguable lost to trout ok. The scorecards were a joke

Even at this age, Cotto beats Canelo, might even stop him late.

I've always favored Alvarez. He has the size, skill, and fast hands to beat Cotto up and make him run. It should be a damn good fight though.

Both are great but Canelo is too big and strong. I feel that Cotto is in an odd position, too big for 147 and too small for the big 154 lbers

Cotto's fighting the #5 ranked MW in the world as a voluntary defense. Canelo has NO title and he fought an unranked JMW or MW (whatever division Canelo thinks he's in) who hasn't fought in 18 months, at a catchweight, for the 4th time in a row. I fail to see exactly what he's doing better than Cotto is. How can you even **** on Cotto while using Canelo as the one doing better things against better competition? Objective, do you even know what that word means lol?
              Daniel Geale, #5 Middleweight?

Geale went life and death with Barker, who then got KO'd in 2 rounds by Sturm. All he possess is work rate, low quality at that. I don't believe the GGG fight needs mentioning.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kirkland put Geale in a bodybag at 160.

Cotto hasn't won a meaningful fight since Clottey in 09 and won't win another one before he retires.

Canelo will be too big and his hands too fast for Cotto. Late KO.

Scorecards where a joke, but I felt Canelo just about won. I thought Lara beat him though.

Pumpkin is nearing his prime, while princess is 5'o clock past his prime. No doubt Canelo will win.

the reality is, cotto is fighting a guy who got destroyed in 3 rounds by other mw belt holder (who's btw cotto's mandatory) less than a year ago.

                  at a catchweight
Every MW has gotten destoryed by GGG, what's your point? Geale is ranked #5 in the world. What is the issue? The fact that GGG wants a big money fight? Hey, guess what so do Canelo and Cotto and Ward and Froch. GGG has to wait his turn, if he brought money he could get a fight.

Cotto would simply be outgunned by the bigger, younger, stronger Canelo.

                      4 here, sorry.

As for everything else, I read a whole bunch of nothing but ducking the fact that Canelo has had 4 CW's in a row. He just said he'll fight GGG... In the future because they're in different divisions yet... 155 IS MW. I can embarrass you all day, Cotto is much more of a man and champion than Canelol. Who is only champion of 155 which apparently is it's own division now.
