Canelo stops Cotto

Cotto has a high ring IQ on top of being a good boxer/puncher. He knows how to turn a fight into a chess match when it's necessary, and if he fights Canelo he can look at how Floyd handled him and try executing a tactical strategy.

I don't believe Canelo's footwork is quite as good as Cotto. Canelo probably has the power advantage though, but Cotto's punches still have venom. It's a really intriguing match up. Hope they make this fight. If they don't then I hope it's because it involves the name GGG (or maybe Mayweather).

Canelo can't pressure, Cotto by wide decision or KO. Canelo might win a round or two, he'll get credit for 5 though.

Canelo can trow combos if the target is static in front of him. Cotto will not do that.

I believe that Canelo's power is way over rated.

I got Cotto by stoppage under 10 rounds.

After the Kirkland I am convinced Cotto will KO Canelo!!

Trust me Canelo wont take an exchange as he did if it was Cotto.

Canelo also ran out of steam way to quick during the exchanges.

Hopefully we see a fight with Cotto by end of year.....

I think Canelo would beat Cotto. So Canelo was gassed in the first round? I think Canelo is measured in his output but I would not take that to mean he is gassed. That is how most people interpret it. He doesn't punch himself out but he has more in the tank.

I hope that fight is next. Cotto wouldn't come straight forward like Kirkland get KOed early, but I think he would be KOed sooner or later.
