Cotto looked great, as he should have. If its Canelo or Martinez next, I hope he chooses Martinez and goes after that middleweight belt. Easier fight imo. Canelo might just be too much though I'd support Cotto if he took that fight. Either way I think we're all going to be happy with whatever he chooses next.

Yippee!! I put this victory slightly above the Yuri Foreman performance.

What a joke of a bout

As always the usual hating. Cotto destroys delvin and now he's a bum. Canelo destroyed Light welter Josesito and it was soooooo amazing. . .

            See too believe :-)!

DOnt use Trout's fight as a measurement. Trout came with the right game plan against a Cotto who literally didnt prepare to fight a jabber-boxer. Cotto look horrible in that fight. Didn't cut the ring, didn't set up his power punches with his jab. Didn't bob and weave or use his footwork to gain better angles. Man so many Cotto didnt do that night...

When Canelo and COtto fight I will get back to you and ask you: "Did your boxing IQ improved tonight?"

This is true. The only way this fight would have told us something is if Cotto had not performed well. He did exactly what he was supposed to and had to do. Now we see if he can look as impressive with elite caliber opponents. I hope so. He is very entertaining. I still think he should try to go back to 147 but maybe he really can't.

Did anyone expect delvin to win? No! Did anyone expect him to give Cotto trouble? Probably but not enough to do any serious damage to Cotto.

X2 on cotto doing what he was supposed to do. Absolutely destroyed Rodriguez. Which takes us to the changes that roach has been making, the biggest thing to take away from this fight. It was a lot less dancing around point boxing, and more of the bulldog Miguel, imposing his will, using both hands especially the body attack, and simply destroyed delvin.

A great victory in the sense that cotto isn't as shopworn/shot as some people would like to have you believe.

In all fairness to Cotto he really only had one bad fight lately and that was against Trout. No shame in the Floyd fight. I think a return to body punching form is great.
