If Cotto loses to or looks bad against Delvin: "He's done! He's a bum, he wasn't ever even really good in the first place!"

Cotto beats Delvin in impressive fashion: "he's a bum, it's just Delvin Rodriguez."

Lol the NSB boards always entertain me!

This is true, he did gas out against Margarito and Floyd I would say, but it just fits seeing as how Cotto was still his own boss, even under Diaz. It's the reason he left Steward, maybe he finally realized that he has to be pushed to be an elite fighter. Not everyone is Floyd, he is an exception.

Cotto has more than I thought physically. He looked good, strong. Before this fight I saw a Canelo fight as a bad idea for Cotto. The problem with Cotto is when he is faced with someone who can take what he dishes out and fights back he turns into a boxer with short arms abandons the body work and trys to coast. I think Canelo and him will be a good fight. Canelo has slow feet and that gives Cotto a shot. But Canelo is a big jmw with a decent punch and a good variety of punches, he's accurate and Cotto is there to be hit.

Cotto looked superb tonight. I was one of the main people that was critical of his decision to leave Pedro Diaz, but Roach has him looking awesome. Cotto-Alvarez is a dream fight.

Gotta give him credit for straight up destroying Delvin but its just a win. Let's go for the big fish and see what happens.

Even thou the way the fight was going it looked like the KO was on it's way, I thought the fight was stopped prematurely & the ref should had given Rodriguez the count..Cotto looked good & a lot of people are talking about his aggressiveness, but he looked just as aggressive in the fight against Floyd, except that the difference in this fight was that he did something he hasn't done in a while & that was to constantly attack the body & go very well to the body & head..Now We to see how Cotto does against better opposition.. I think Cotto should fight Canelo first(cause is not as dangerous as going against Sergio Martinez & there's good $$$$$$ against Canelo) & depending on the outcome & how he looks in that fight, then they have a better idea if they should throw him against Martinez.. Even thou I think Martinez will starch both Cotto & Canelo..

So glad the ref stopped it when he did. Rodriguez could have really gotten hurt in against that beast.

He hasn't shown that style of fighting since he was cheated that July night in Las Vegas in 2008.

I probably would have been knocked out...u are correct but at least I would have went out swinging. Delvin looked like he knew he was already paid and was looking for the closest exit. Its all good...you all will believe what you want to believe and I will believe what I saw...simple as that.

Just finished watching the fight and I have to say Cotto looked impressive tonight. I like the way he went back to working to the body. Cotto looked ripped too. Gratz to him and roach.
