I see a lot of posts with the same sentiments as me: TOO MUCH CLINCHING AND PUSHING DOWN by Klitschko. Not an impressive win, whatsoever. Credit to Povetkin for showing some heart.

I'm questioning my fandom of Wladimir Klitschko after that disgusting performance. That's not ****in boxing; that's just being a scared phaggot clinching like that after literally every offensive output....

The fight made me feel the exact same way.

Wlad did what Ali, Lewis, Johnson and loads of other champions before did-whatever the ref allowed. It was crap to watch and excessive but the ref did take a point, and for my money, Povetkin accepted a lot of those clinches without too much fuss. It's better than eating left hooks.

it was either get knocked out at long range or get you neck pushed down by rushing in . pov would not let klit get the 1-2 going from the outside so he bull rushed in and got tangled up in klits arms by design. he saved himself from getting knocked out. it was his style that led to excessive holding

Pathetic crapola excuse for a ref definitely. Punch and grab... and lean... then grab some more... then push the guy to the canvas. What kind of ref allows that kind of b.s.? Not saying Povetkin would've won, but holy geez murder forker.
