There was obviously no need for a rematch. Also, Roach said they would never fight each other again around the time he started training Cotto so it's not exactly news.

Had Pac not lost to JMM I'm sure *****s would argue that this was a blatant duck though.

Bringer is correct Pacman never ducked a fight, he fights whoever his promoter tells him too even Mayweather said this he said Pac fights whoever Arum tells him so he is no ducker.

If you watched boxing before 2008 you would recall Murad Muhammad, Pacs first promoter throwing him with nothing but tough fighters, even journey men who were dangerous like agapito sanchez and julio, and throwing pac in with just two weeks notice against tough champion ledwaba who people forget was considered to be the best guy at 122 since Morales and Barrera vacated to 126. Pacman fought JMM when nobody wanted anythign to do with him, JMM was called the avoided one because of how Prince Naseem refused to fight him.

If Pac didn't fight a certain fighter its because his promoter didn't want to make the fight not him. He always says it talk to my promoter, and people can hate all they want but the only one here who has full say on his career is Mayweather and he openly joked and admit he is hand picker.

In fact Arum only gets hated on by Mayweather groupies they hate anyone Floyd hates and like whoever he likes, they liked 50 cent than hated him when he spoke about floyd telling him he was scared to fight Manny. They love Al haymon the snake too.

Everyone blames Arum for the top rank vs. golden boy feud, its BS, Golden boy apologized to Arum when floyd retired because they had no star they settled out of court and were pretending to be nice to Arum and than they stabbed him in the back when Mayeather came out of retirement and started talking **** on pac.

Arum put Pacquiao in with mainly golden boy fighters too, Barrera, JMM rematches, Oscar, and Hatton. So Arum is not trying to protect Pac like many claim.

And it was Floyd who made the excuse he will not work with Arum, Arum never said that. Arum was actually trying to negotiate the fight with Ross Greenburg and Haymon and than Floyd went on vacation the second negotiation. But it came out of floyds mouth that he will not do business with Arum and unless Pacman signs to TMT promotions.

Even Arum won't bother if there's no demand from the fighters or the fans. He can make fights with both that people actually care about.

I would have rather seen pacquiao fight paul Williams instead of clottey. I would have rather seen pacquiao fight berto who was undefeated at the time pacquiao signed to fight mosley. especially with mosley just coming off of a draw with Sergio mora. Im not saying pacquiao ducked those guys, but I would have rather seen those fights.

Good. Don't really want to see a rematch.

They are friends now and once Manny becomes friends with someone he will never fight them.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. just sent Manny Pacquiao a friend request.

That's kind of the point though, Gambler and Thoughts were inferring he ducked.

The fight won't happen because of weight. Pacman didn't and wouldn't beat a healthy Cotto and he proved it when he went looking for the rematch at mannyweight himself.

I don't understand why people still care about this fight. Pac destroys Cotto and turns him into mush no matter what. It should also be noted that it's Cotto's decision that he won't fight below 154 anymore, and Pac won't fight above 150.

The Cotto from last night could easily beat Trout though, they should set a rematch of that one.
