People kill me always bringing up the Ponce fight to **** on Broner. Go back and watch a young Floyd Mayweather fight an Emmanual Augustus, who entered that fight with probably 20 loses. No way in hell would you believe Floyd was gonna end up the best fighter of his era and one of the greatest defensive fighters in history with the way he was repeatedly tagged by Augustus. Guys have unexpectedly tough fights all the time. Hell, Floyd was a lineal champ when that fight happen. Broner fought Ponce as an untested prospect.

After that fight pbf has been nearly perfect broner has so much flaws and keeps getting hit so much against small and old opposition. Ponce de leon was there to make broner looked good he was considered damage goods after juanma put jim to sleep. It wasn't like pdl was on top of his career that day.

Just because he beat linares when getting outboxed doesn't mean he was #1 abril was better than demarco go got robbed in the rios fight. Demarco has always been a punching bag tough opponent but not number 1.

Hate to tell you, holding a world class fighter, with fast hands, who has no intentions of landing anything of consequence to 25% connects is damn good defense. Especially considering that Broner stood right in front of him. The only thing Broner did wrong in that fight was not use any lateral movement. But are things he can learn. Demarco didn't land ****. Pbf beat a champ easily that had a good performance against a good and undefeated champ in trout. Was Escobedo a champ or had a good performance against a champ he lost against katsididis the most notable fighter in his resume when katsidis itself wasn't great.

I know you don't like dominant confident black fighters such as Mayweather/Broner so that makes me believe you are not black. But talent wise they are great, and Ward is #2.

Lol i don't know if the guy you replied too doesn't like black boxers or not but one thing is for sure broner is not dominant. Not even against his step ups in competition such as pdl and malig.

Please dont use broner in the same sentence as pbf and ward.
