Javier Fortuna would give Mikey Garcia some real problems!!Gary Russell would just make him look like a robot

You assume that but Mikey fights JuanMa and Salido who are small for him and Crawford hasn't fought anyone but a shot Prescott. As far as Rigo that was a given.

Not in comparison to Broner, it isn't. At least Crawford isn't being touted as being among the absolute best in the sport like Broner is. He hasn't had everything handed to him on a silver platter like that goofball has had, either.

Besides: talent isn't he same as resume.

I think both are tremendously talented, but highly unproven...

Both are very talented. The first time I watched Crawford, what amazed me was how he listens to his corner. When he is between rounds, you can tell he is not drifting away in thought and is totally tuned in 100% to what his cornerman is saying. Relaxed and Quiet. A real student of the game. It is a wonderful thing to see.

If Broner would be a student like that, he would be amazing. Broner seems so much to not care at times, outside the ring he is a goof. It is amazing he is as good as he is because he seems in a different world at times.

Crawford is a talented guy. He and Beltran would be a good next fight.

I think bob is right on this,,,

5 years from now crawford will be going strong, while the broner train will have been derailed.....

Broner is like a hatton, tyson, toney, bowe type fighter where he has plenty of talent but not the 365 24/7 dedication to the sport,,

Crawford is cut from the same cloth as floyd, hopkins, jmm,, true professionals that are always in shape and always handle business

right now broner is a bigger name and better resume, but by 2018 broner will old news, and crawford will be still going strong,,

Crawford may never become a huge superstar, but like pernell and "pretty boy" version of floyd, he will just keep winnning but may not make all the headlines

I've been following Crawford for a while. He was fighting on those Top Rank undercard streams. I was happy that he got an opportunity to fill in against Prescott and he didn't disappoint.

Both him and Broner are talented though. The future of boxing is in good hands.
