Don't get me wrong, I consider Garcia the current No.1 but it's another thing to say he's cleaned out the division.
Everyone has round robin'd in the division except for Alvarado.

I figure, if there has been a round robin of sorts and one man emerges, that alludes to the fact that he's cleaned it out.

If he beats Peterson, everyone will say that Peterson is either A). washed up, B). a steroid bum or C). chin cracked by Matthyse

So what's incentive except $, and its not like Peterson is worth anything outside of DC.

It's better to find some new challenges. Move up to 147 or even ask Papa Arum to let Provo or Alvarado fight Swift. I don't think he'd mind leasing either of those two out to fight Swift in a major fight. It's not like they have huge promotional upside

Forget the pre-fight hype, the reason there's a case for a rematch is because LM was up in the fight until this (strange incident) happened:

In saying that, I don't want to see a rematch next.

Danny will get ZERO credit from you haters for beating a guy A). he just beat and B). got his orbital bone pushed back by Danny

Matty fans just can't accept what happened a few weeks ago
He didnt tap anything had the ref not allowed that bull knock down when matthyse was tangled in the ropes lucas would of won the fight on points. Lucas was winning that round big that was a 3 point swing. It was a fun fight why not make it again

Either give Lucas Matthysse a rematch or dump the belt and move up to 147 and fight Robert Guerrero. Or take out that annoying Adrien *****ner

And I know it wasn't a great win, but I think a little bit of credit is owed for the first Morales fight. I may be wrong, but he was coming off of two impressive performances against Cano and Maidana. So he was still a player at 140 in the first fight. In the second fight, I don't know why Morales wanted that rematch clause set.

You can add Morales, but there are still other fighters around, notably Mike Alvarado. I know the Alvarado fight can't be made but if he loses to Provodnikov, then Ruslan is the WBO champ. That fight can be made.

I agree...I would love Swift to fight the winner of that.

I'm just opposed to fighting Peterson. I think it's a worthless fight.

I mentioned this matchup just a few posts up
