Dont be fool by the scorecards thou. COtto's fight agaisnt FLoyd was very competitive and close. His fight against, even thou he clearly lose, the fight wasn't as wide as the as the scorecard indicated.
Delvin ROdriguez is a pressure boxer who doesn't have power in his hands to deal with Cotto's power.
Agreed. I just hope Cotto has his stamina where it needs to be. That and the body punching.

Getting a Mayweather fight should have been enough incentive to force Canelo to sign an extension with GB I think.

If this is right, Golden Boy will deny it as any promoter would in a contract dispute.

It would be beneficial if he moves up to MW because there are no big fights in that division on ShowTime other than Quillin.

Maybe he went free agent. Oscar did it and floyd did it and made money. He's big enough and seems smart enough to be his own man.

I never heard of Canelo being a free agent. I'm curious to see what GBP has to say. As far as Cotto, at this point in his career, he needs to take it one fight at a time. I expect Cotto to win, but Rodriguez is no walk in the park. Ideally, I would like to see him fight the winner of Bradley-Marquez if he beats Rodriguez. I don't know how likely that is though since Cotto seems pretty adamant about staying at 54.

Bradley needs to become a free agent after this fight if he wins.

Mayweather vs Bradley JMM winner, Alvarez vs Cotto and Bronner vs Khan as the co-undercard.

A $69 PPV I would pay for. Only person I want to see Martinez fight who's smaller than him is Mayweather.

Cotto Alvarez is the fight I want to see. That or Cotto Trout II.

He's not ready for that. He's better off staying with gbp and fighting smaller guys and winning easy belts. He's not the next Floyd/PAC/cotto
