Wlad was as afraid of Haye as Haye was afraid of Wlad. He's just bigger.

Lennox did demolition jobs on Ruddock, Grant, Golota, Botha, Morrison, Briggs and others. That he was strictly a safety-first fighter, like Wlad assuredly is, is a misconception and shows your ignorance.

As for Wlad being the aggressor in the Haye fight, if you call holding your left arm out while taking baby steps forward, tying up your opponent every time he comes at you, uncorking a handful of right hands over 12 rounds against a guy 30lbs+ lighter than you "aggressive" then you need to go pop on a dvd of Tyson-Berbick, Foreman-Norton, Bowe-Holyfield for a proper definition of aggression.

Wlad should be as embarrassed about the Haye fight as Haye should. He had a guy in front of him whom he professed to hate, a guy who had taunted his family for years, a guy 30 odd lbs lighter who clearly didn't fancy the task, and Wlad fought in his usual mechanical, must-not-get-hit-once manner without really taking any risks. He should have been penalised for clinching in the last round too, when Haye buzzed him with an overhand right.

Wlad fought like a big fanny in the Haye fight

A lot of Wlad stans lay the blame on Haye, but the blame is with both men. Here you have a big twonk who said he was going to give Haye a pizza face, then you had Haye fight with his hands down, zero defence and Wlad was to scared to let his hands go in case he got countered.

Wlad realized quickly Hayes reflexes and movement was far supriror than anyone he'd ever faced and caged up and decided to jab and hold his way to a win.

On the flipside Hayes tactics were wrong, he should have pressed the fight like he did in rd 11. Wlads legs stiffened and he held on for dear life.

However Wlad was the bigger guy who promised carnage and instead was scared to hit a guy who was right infront of him with his hands down.

I have noticed some posters have misconceptions regarding Lennox Lewis's career.

I don't know if you guys are being bias on purpose or honestly forgot.

For one.. Lewis wasn't criticized for being boring all the time... he was criticized for not being EXCITING MORE. That's a big difference from Wladimir.

Lennox Lewis have actually been in as many exciting fights against good opposition as Tyson has.

Lewis was in exciting fights vs:
              Golota,Grant,Mercer,Briggs,Vitali,Mason,Bruno, and Ruddock.

His fights against Tucker.Morrison, Rahman and Biggs were also eventful and not in the least bit boring.

Lewis was commonly known as 'a fighter with two faces'.
His blitz mode and his 'sweet science boring jab' mode.. The American Media just wanted him to be in Blitz Mode ALL THE TIME.

Wlad don't really have a Blitz mode.. not because he don't want to or is scared.. but because he can't. If he Blitz. he dies.

I find it laughable how people think if Wlad had went all out Lewis-Golota style on Haye.. he would have knocked Haye out in the 1st round.. If Wlad had went Lewis-Golota on Haye.. Wlad would be dead.

He fight like this because he needs to protect his weak chin... I mean I thought people already knew this?

hope this turns out to be worth watching -- have never seen Povetkin -- haven't seen much of WK either lately as a matter of fact -- it's really amazing that the 2 HW champions are hardly ever on US TV --partly because of time European time differences but also because neither have been remotely challenged in years so their fights have been boringly predictable -- either their so-called opponent comes into the ring looking scared to death -- then we get 3-4 rounds where a K bro lumbers around shooting an occasional jab and body punch -- then realizes that the guy is terrified and won't even try to do anything -- then a couple of combos and the fight is over -- OR the other guy goes into a complete defensive shell in survival mode in round 1 (e.g., Haye) -- it's a shame that there have been no guys to give either a challenge in years -- just shows the pathetic state of the HW division -- I'm hoping for something more tomorrow....

I like Chisora and Fury but i dont like Haye. At least Fury and Chisora arre funny.
And Chisora is not just a barking dog, he gave Vitali a verry tough fight and hes an exciting fighter. I dont like Haye because he seems like an arrogant prick, just as Wladimir Klitschko. Plus hes only fighting once a year and is wasting his talent.
