Didn't Wale Omotoso give him a hell of a fight? I can't recall, but I don't think Vargas was impressive in that fight if I remember.. If I remember correctly some people said he was gonna be great but failed to prove it to me vs Lucky Boy..

Actually he impressed me even more against Lucky Boy. Lucky Boy looked 2 weight classes bigger than Vargas and Vargas controlled the entire fight with his jab.

I feel Vargas showed heart, chin and even power in hurting Lucky Boy badly in the middle rounds. He might have one of the best jabs in the sport for being so young.
