What potential? He is not a very good fighter who also happens to be lazy as hell.

Martinez v Chavez was boring and uncompetitive for 11 rounds. No need for a rematch anyway.

Martinez v one of Canelo/Cotto/Mayweather/Golovkin are much better fights for the fans.

Let Chavez rematch Vera then fight Ward or Froch.

He's actually a better boxer than he's given credit for by some. I lol'd at him fighting on the backfoot, he was doing well too slipping punches and landing big counter-punches until he got tired and sloppy.

They need to put their foot down and say I ain't fighting.

BTW, for all the crying that went on with Jr-Vera. Jr weighed in at 172 and Vera weighed in at 171. So I really don't understand people claiming Jr disrespected this or that when his opponent basically weighed the same damn thing.
I am pretty sure no elite fighters would not have played those silly weight games with Junior.

Jr wants to fight the smaller guys where he can impose his bigger frame. That wouldn't work against ward , froch bute. He would get KO'd

I think Martinez has a HUGE year next year, after he fully recovers from his injuries.

You do know it was Brian Vera he was fighting, right? The Brian Vera that I gave eight out of the ten rounds in the fight. Junior can hit them when they stand in front of him to get hit. I also believe Junior's opponents have been overrated, especially Andy Lee. In my opinion Junior's power is also highly overrated. And if his name wasn't Chavez fans would see him for what he really is an average lazy a$$ fighter who has beaten no one.
