Yeah that's not a good sign. Ideally you would want to have fought a southpaw or two going into a fight like this.

It's not just having a chin, it's just sheer impact of being tagged all through training camp, then going in the ring and being tagged with well over 150 punches to the face by someone with power...hell he might as well earn his living ****ing his head against a concrete wall might have a less harmful long term effect than boxing.
True! His speach sounds almost as bad as Urbano Antillon's.

WHy is he finished? Because he has two back-2-back loses? Because he got robbed of a clear unanimous decision against Bradley? or because he got perfectly countered by Marquez' impressive trademark punch, The right semi-straight short hook, in a fight he obviously was turning around?

I really dont get boxing fanboys. Its like they dont understand the sport. This is boxing! It doesn't matter who you are--Mayweather, ALi, Julio Cesar Chavez, or Pepito--if you get perfectly counter by a perfectly thrown power punch while out of, or in perfect, position, you will pay the price. The point of the sport is to slip and slide to hit and avoid getting hit. To roll with your opponents punches or block them with your forearms, elbows or shoulder to suppress your opponents's power. So, why people insist in the believe that a boxer's done after being Knocked Out cold for not sticking to defense 101?

If there's something that does takes a toll is the mental state of that boxer. Some fighters never recover after being Knocked out, because they lose that drive and will to expose themselves to danger. They dont dare gamble with risk anymore. Pacquiao is not one of those fighters thou. He has the heart of a true warrior and as long he feel he can beat his opponent he will fight him again. Why not?

Pacquio would be done if he had your mentality thou. YOu are weak and you wouldn't be the same ever if you ever get beat up. A guy like me will always look for away to turned things around. :- )

The PacMonster via brutal TKO, Rios have no business being in the same ring with the PacMonster.

I like Rios so this fight will be a sad one to watch. Pacquiao needs to retire before he leaves the ring if he somehow drops this.

I see Rios being tailor made for Pac.
I also see Pac having lost his fire a few fights ago.

                Could be interesting.

                  Rios Pacquiao

I like Brandon Rios. I like to see him fight, but he has no chance against Pacquiao. Brandon has to be worried after witnessing what happened to his stablemate Margarito. Tony Margarito was no slouch or chump and Pacquiao beat the crap out of him and retired him. In the Marquez fight, Pacquiao was winning the fight when he was knocked out by a lucky punch from Marquez.
Pacquiao made Marquez. Without Pacquiao agreeing to fight him, Marquez would never have made the money he is now making.
