How was floyd blamed for the manny fight not happening?

i think you are remembering it wrong. manny was the one who wanted 50/50 and floyd turned in down. since a huge cut goes to arum and floyd says he is his own boss, floyd felt he wanted a larger part of the cutComment

floyd said he would fight manny on a 14 days drug testing notice and 50-50
3 months later ish, manny said ok, floyd said that was 3 months ago and it was no longer on the table
see the hypocrisy of the man? if floyd wanted the manny fight, he would have done it when manny accepted him on his 14 day offer a few months later
floyd then demanded 0 days cut off, a few months later, manny accepted and AGAIN floyd changed the terms by saying it is off the table and pac must accept less than 50-50
now floyd has come out and said manny must leave top rank to fight him, he must also fight under his banner of mayweather promotions a few times
its clear when you use logic that floyd avoided manny like he did many other top guys
the above are all fact btw, I can easily bump threads which prove floyd saying and doing such a thing
floyd offered, manny accepted and floyd changed the terms, thats the story 3-4 timesComment

there was nothing wrong with manny suing, heck he won the case for a reason, floyd kept changing the terms and then accusing him on being on drugs despite manny agreeing to testing
I really cannot understand how people can be so silly in thinking floyd never ducked manny, it is as clear as day!Comment

how come floyd suddenly needed extra drug tests when pacman came along? i dont recall ricky hatton being told by mayweather that if you dont take these tests then no fight, why is that?
why is it that mayweather now claims pacman has to sign for mayweather promotions to get a fight now!?
its 1 thing after another. enjoy the khan fight!Comment

A lot happened it's far from simple.
Floyd constantly found new excuses for the fight not to happen.
First it was the money, it took him ages to agree anywhere close to 50/50.
Manny agreed to around 60/40 in Floyd's favour, and Floyd still didn't go for it.
Floyd then said oh he's on drugs which was the first time he'd ever pulled that card. It was defamatory and Manny was right to sue. He did finally agree to full testing. Floyd then pulled further other excuses.
Arum is largely to blame too (he doesn't want it and manipulates a naive Manny) but Floyd definitely mucked around with various excuses, often contradicting his own prior comments.Comment
