    His actual name? Lomanchenko?

I see he's getting a lot of press, I've never heard of him.

russian / ukrainian amateur. mid 20's. tiny guy. looks like a very complete fighter.

his amateur record is reported to be 350+ wins with only one avenged loss. obviously there's no way to confirm that.

he was the top ranked amateur in the world for several years, and has an international pedigree. several time world champion. 2x gold medalist.

it's spelled lomachenko. first name is vasyl.

let me see if i can dig up some recent sparring. the kid does look good.

arum has him under contract, and is trying to get him to a world title by his second pro fight.

lomachenko looks good, but lets see him actually debut as a pro before we break out the "greatest of all time" anointing oil.

Ahhhh, an Amateur. That explains why I've never heard of him.

and of course there's already an NSB thread asking about whether or not he's the greatest ever.

I voted no.I have seen film of him and I don't think he has the potential to be the best fighter ever. He will be a good fighter most likely but not even close to the best fighter in history in my opinion. There have already been some incredibly great fighters and best in history is a very tall order. The pros is much different and harder. GGG has a much better chance to be considered by some to be the best in history.

I hope you're talking about "best amateur boxer" ever.

From the sounds of it the guy is very promising but he hasn't entered the pro game yet, so let's wait and see. A guy with that kind of amateur pedigree (like Rigo) doesn't need to many "easy" fights, he'll probably be ready for a title fight in 4-5 fights.
