Khan doesn't deserve a shot at this point period. Alexander is more deserving IMO.

And since when does it take a deserving dansing partner to fight vs Floyd? Canelo wasn't, Guerrero wasn't etc. what really matters to floyd is who can sale and comparing Alexander with Khan it is an abysmal diference in fan base.

1) His resume looks better on paper than it really is. The Matthysse and Kotelnik wins were borderline robberies. His only really good win is Maidana, but he got away with a lot of holding in that fight, and Maidana was moving up in weight.

2) I think he is getting slack because he didn't live up to the hype. It's kind of unfair, because it's not really his fault that some people thought quick hands + a southpaw stance = greatness.

3) "Khan ain't got nothing Devon hasn't seen before" - flat out wrong. Khan is much faster than anyone Devon has faced before, and faster than Devon himself.

so Devon wasn't moving up when he fought Miadana...khan has been knocked out b4 devin hasnt,khan lose to bums,devon only lost was to Bradley... you can say it looks good on paper but the truth is the truth an a lie is a lie... if it wasn't for joe Cortez that would have been three times khan got stopped...he has nothing devon never seen I say again.... an khan is not as fast as you guys think he is cause if that was the case he wouldn't be on the canvas Everytime he fights #fact

Yeah I distinctly remember Khan being knocked down vs Molina, Peterson, Judah, McCloskey, Maidana, Paulie, Salita, Kotelnik, Barrerra, and all his previous fights #fact.

Khan's defense is leaky as hell but if you don't have power your no threat to him unless your either Floyd or on roids a la Peterson. Guerrero or Alexander would be easy pickings for AK. Bradley could beat him by decision though. Julio Diaz dropped him when he was off balance but didn't really hurt him

Khan v Alexander is a must because we know Floyd isn't fighting Manny or Bradley any time soon.

the only other legit welter out there, would be the winner of this fight. It needs to happen. I won't have a problem with Floyd picking this winner because in all honesty they deserve it.

I've ripped into the Canelo fight but as I said all along, if Floyd wasn't going to fight Manny and almost no one else left at 147, the Canelo fight makes sense, as does the winner of Khan/DA

What makes you so sure? The only reason Devon has ANY chance is because Khan has a notoriously weak chin. Other than punch resistance, what does Devon have on Khan?

Stamina, skill and just about everything else boxing related except speed and khan only has that advantage for roughly 4 rounds.

if i were devon alexander, i would not give this sphincter a crack at all.
one, he dont deserve it....ya gotta earn it.
two, the khunt still has unfinished business even with prescott and mcloskey.
three, who would really want to fight a fellah that is very easily ktfo?.
four, a fight with this khunt would do nothing for devons credibility because people would say....so what? hes just a loser with a large pie hole and a decent sun tan.
five, im surprised virgil hunter would even consider making himself look like a ****** **** by putting this little khunt in a ring with anybody other than a domestic british fighter.
six, hes avoided kev mitchell,kell brook and a more than deserved rematch with poor ole mccloskey.
seven, hes been beaten who i dont regard as the best at the weight in garcia (very easily ktfo) and a string of veeeeery near misses with lots of others and the **** thinks hes fackin special! what a complete ****!.
eight, the boys nowhere near top flight as shown.
nine, he wont face anybody hes been ktfo by as a return.
