I feel sorry for Roach, he was always telling us Khan is the one to cause an upset against Floyd

Now he's been robbed of his chance

the canelo fight was too soon.

if you take how we, as boxing fans, have been brought to expect the worst ... we should be happy.

after the guerrero fight, what SHOULD have happened was a khan fight; yet we got the fight we ALL wanted, canelo.

we now have this, a fight, that with the proper promotional vehicle will draw an easy million ppv's.

there's no question about floyd's fight game, or who his best out for a fight is. we all know what he brings, lets just see the ride with how bad of a bandit floyd makes out.

Kind of weird to announce it this early but they do have a lot of work to do to sell that fight but then again no one is really going to separate them self in that time frame either.

Hopefully Garcia can have a good start to the year to make that a fairly big fight later in the year.

"Khan’s share of this $200million blockbuster is expected to be no less than $6m and is likely to climb to at least double that from pay-TV sales on both sides of the Atlantic."

"The official announcement will be made in the next few days and Khan has already pulled out of his challenge to world welterweight champion Devon Alexander, scheduled for December 7 in New York, to ensure that his dream fight with Mayweather is not jeopardised."

"Stephen Espinosa, head of sports for the giant Showtime cable TV network which bankrolls both men, says: ‘Floyd has seen off the tough, heavy punchers. It remains to be seen what he will do against extreme speed and I like the Khan fight very much.’"
