The Olympic boxing is a "family business" of former the Soviet Union and it's satellite states...
... And who were, let's say, the last U.S. five Olympic champions?

I think he should go pro. By the time 3 years passes and it's Olypics time he could have built a decent record and gained valuable experience provided they gradually step up his competition in line with how he progresses. Plus he'll have already earned some money and if he's good he'll soon attract big sponsorship money aswell. He could wait 3 years and get shafted at the Olympics and have notghing to show for it. It's a gamble either way but I hope he makes the right decision for himself and it works out!!

Its up to him...winning the Gold Medal in boxing doesn't seem as meaningful as it once was and there's no guarantee he'd win...add on the fact that USABoxing looks like a mess...

If Mike's offer is good enough hell I wouldn't blame him for taking it...
