I'd much rather see this fight than Khan vs Mayweather or Garcia vs. Mayweather (I'd like to see Garcia take a fight or two at 147). I think Lara presents problems to Floyd stylistically, but at this point I can not pick against Floyd. Floyd wins via decision.

It sounds funny but if u watch MMA and ever seen two wrestlers fight, it usually never ends up being a Humpfest like ppl think going into the fight. Because neither guy can take the other down. So it ends up being a stand up war. In this case, there might be crazy action cuz it's two boxers. And one won't be able to out box the other do easily. He will counter his counters. Idk if I made any sense but I think that it can end up being a good action fight after all.

Lara's as good a fight as any, but I wouldn't bet against Mayweather versus anyone from 154 on down.

Floyd's counters, movement and timing will decrease the output of his opponent no matter who it is. Guerrero throws close to 1,000 punches per fight and only threw like 500 against Mayweather.

That's people's mistake. Thinking that "an exciting fighter" will make an exciting fight against Floyd.

If Mayweather continues to fight as well as he fought in the Canelo fight I would pick Mayweather to beat anyone at 154 except GGG. I think Canelo would beat Lara so I think Floyd would win with few problems. Lara is good but he is too cautious and does not throw very many punches per round. If the fight is a long range boxing match I think Floyd is a much better boxer. I would like to see Lara fight Canelo or Trout. He could rematch Molina. I wish Golden Boy would get Lara better fights. The Angulo fight was a good one and Lara looked beatable in that fight. He sid not look too impressive against Vanes either. Lara often fails to shine when he is given the chance. He is a good fighter but sort of an under achiever.
