This fight will never happen but if it does happen I'd pick Lara to win. Lara is the biggest threat out there.

The biggest threat? This guy gotta draw against Vanes and Molina and got dropped twice by Angulo. Mayweather toys with him. Floyd is faster, slicker, better defense, far more accurate and more experienced. Lara has no chance.

I think Lara has the style to cause Floyd some big problem and take a decision.

The fight will never happen though, precisely for this reason.

First of all, fight will never happen. Lara is too huge of a risk and is difficult to sell, according to Schaefer. Second of all, it will be one of the most boring fights in boxing history.

Generally speaking, humans aren't big fans of being punched in the face.

Lara can't beat Floyd. He can't out box him either. Lara just isn't skilled enough to beat Floyd.

This fight makes no sense right now. Lara barley escapes Angulo and now were talking about a Floyd fight. Lara has zero credible wins on his resume at the moment. Vanes was boxing Lara pretty good also and possible could have boxed his way to a victory.

I'm in the same boat. I will not bet against Floyd until he shows signs of regression.

While I think Floyd would certainly beat Lara, if Floyd keeps fighting fighter bigger than him and at age 37, eventually he's gonna get beat. Father time eventually catches all fighters, Floyd won't be one of the rare exceptions

That's because the opponents for Floyd are slim pickings. Who else is there for him to fight? There is no obvious choice. There will be a complaint no matter who it is, because the competition isn't that great (or Floyd is just head and shoulders above the comp.; either way it's worded works.)
