Two fighters who were undefeated..and considered the best Welters in the sport at the time
I predict a close fought UD win for FMJ
Who would you pick?

In 2006? Cotto had barely moved to WW. Cotto-Mayweather should have happened in 2008 after Hatton and Mosley.

2008 would've been better fight.
115-113 Floyd

Cotto would always lose to Floyd. He lacks a natural right hand. You need that as an orthodox fighter to beat Floyd.

I think he means 08 when it was the biggest fight in boxing to be made - then faux retirement
It would have been a 115-113 type of fight for either guy

I would say it looks almost the same, Cotto has some success but not close to enough to win.
