At 135 JMM gets hit too much to be competitive with Duran. I love Marquez, he's one of my all time favourite but Duran was a beast at Lightweight.

I'd favour Duran to force a TKO in the mid to late rounds after suffering some early knockdowns. Marquez' recuperative ability would stop it from being a KO..

Maybe an early career Marquez when he was a more pure counter puncher would have a better chance, but at lightweight he gets hit too often to have a chance of winning. It's Marquez though so he'd remain competitive

I don't see JMM being stopped but I do think Duran takes a comfortable decision. 135 was not Marquez' ideal weight and I think Duran was just a better fighter

Are you crazy? Is this even suppose to be a debatable question? You are trying to get Marquez killed. Durant is going to put a serious hurting on Marquez especially seeing how Marquez gets hurt easily. Hands of Stone by a brutal KO.

Past it or not, Durant absolutely brutalizes Marquez.

This. Marquez is a great fighter but Duran was on another level from Marquez in every way. This is not a close fight. Duran would tear Marquez apart.

Marquez wouldnt have the movement or legs to fight at his full potential. So i'd favor Duran maybe by stoppage. I do see Marquez putting up a fight though.
**** is Duran mexican or something ??? little twat

JMM is my absolute favorite fighter of all time but he gets destroyed by Duran. I can't even imagine JMM making it close

Duran would win but I think it is a lot closer fight that most of you say, Duran would certainly catch JMM early but JMM does not get caught over and over again so while he may taste the canvas a couple time early I think he would dust himself off and fight more evenly as the fight wore on. Still Duran would probably be getting the better of JMM but I do think JMM would have some moments winning 3 or 4 rounds but he would end up losing wide because of a knockdown or two.

It would be a heck of a fight though between offensive minded boxers.
