He needs to beat Maravilla to prove that IMO.

GGG stops Sergio before the 6th round. Sergio too frail at this point to withstand the physicality of GGG.

Rosado was able to survive by constantly moving around the ring. Maybe if Sergio could replicate that movement and land something big of his own he could defeat Golovkin. Highly unlikely though.

I give Stevens a better shot of beating Golovkin, simply because he has devastating one-punch power.

Personally I consider Golovkin the best, but objectively he shouldn't be considered the best until he defeats someone in the top 5.

Sergio already KO'd Barker, he needs to beat beat another top contender or two before he gets a shot at the crown.

When a division has a lineal champion; To be the man, you have to beat the man. Doesn't matter how pretty you look. And Barker is not at the top of 160, only another contender.

It will be a damn shame if Martinez never fights Golovkin.

I think he is the best. He just isn't the champ. It's far from the first time that the no.1 ranked contender is considered better than the champion.
