Bradley is a mesomorph type, a matter of genetics. Provided he incorporates strength training, he'll retain a base level of muscularity even on a vegan diet.

The vegan diet can help keep the system clean to avoid squandering vital nerve energy which is instead utilized for voluntary activities and rebuilding after workouts. This, as well as adequate rest/sleep, yields the improved energy level which Bradley enjoys for his big fights.

But I've seen some horrendous vegan diets based on junk science.

From my experience, most people fail long term on the vegan diet due to a lack of quality fats, not proteins.

I saw a video of him dead-lifting what looked to be a very heavy load (over 400 lbs) and then hearing him say he always stayed in shape in between fights by keeping up with his strength lifting. This clearly explains why he is so ripped and bulky while not having to consume meats. When you lift with a very heavy weight your body produces enough testosterone and HGH to where you cannot lose muscle even with excessive amounts of cardio like most boxers do (assuming your diet is good like I am sure Bradley's is).

After Watching the video of Bradley training and hearing him contradict what a previous poster said about curls and what I said about him lifting heavy weights I admit I might be wrong. I could have swore I saw doing dead-lifts one time though.

Only when he is training for a fight. Guy is on the James Toney diet between fights.

Most people of African descend have those muscles.

Maybe by eating lettuce all day, he was able to save up enough money to pay of the judges against PAC and the Russian guy. By the looks of it, he's going to do the same with Marquez.

He only does the vegan diet during training camp. The rest of the time he appears to eat more normally.

That might be the best way to do it too. Have periods where you go completely vegan for health and energy but then mix it up with periods where you eat meat and dairy as well.

Force Chavez Jr into the vegan diet -- he will die soon.
