It's been reported that Justin Fortune will be Pacquiao's strength and conditioning coach.

For those who don't know, Fortune used to be trained by Roach and was the previous condition coach but they had a falling out.

I like Pac but this is a silly move.

Fortune has a history of steroid use, as noted by Roach.

In a sworn declaration in support of the dismissal motion, Roach said Fortune admitted to him that he used performance enhancing drugs, or PEDs.


“During the time that I trained (Fortune), (he) told me that he had used cycled performance enhancing drugs when he was training for the World Games as a power lifter in his home country of Australia,” Roach said in the statement. “Based on the information provided me by plaintiff, I believed that (he) had used PEDs.”

If you feel that there is no point in drug testing then what can I say. I'd rather try to find a solution than say "oh well people are going to cheat, there's nothing we can do, who cares"

Because it makes it harder. Cheating will always be leagues above but with random testing all they need is one small mistake and youre caught.
