See nothing about Adonis-Bellew. Again, I'm not sure how much more blatant it can be, but to me it looks like they are somewhat shook of Kovalev and doing their best to avoid that fight.

Their reasons for not wanting to fight him aren't even legit..... Kovalev already fought Campillo who should of been Unified champion and put a absolute boxing lesson on Cloud.

I'm no expert.... But I'm pretty sure as a result of beating Dawson, Adonis has some kind of contract with HBO and I highly doubt they will be able to do anything with Showtime/Hopkins until they fufill that contract- If HBO wants Adonis-Kovalev......they'll get it (i could be wrong)

(stevenson-Bellew could very well be next.... I'm saying I don't think Stevenson-Hopkins is possible at the moment)
Oh, I got you on the Stevenson-Hopkins fight, thats just my will, and the fight that would make the most sense here in Montreal, but I also doubt it will happen.

But, Adonis is 36, he wants the money, If HBO show him, I'm pretty sure he will fight Kovalev, but if they don't, why would he fight him? Guys like Froch or Hopkins, are both stars here in Montreal, and a fight with one of them would do a much bigger gate... And the chance to have one of them on his resume, is also more attractive than what Kovalev can bring to the table right now.

I thought it was other way around. They want to see Kovalev-Stevenson, and then winner vs Hopkins.

Hopkins vs Stevenson makes the most sense right now because it will significantly increase Stevenson's exposure to the American audience. This will open the opportunity for Stevenson to have future mega-fights in Las Vegas (Stevenson/Ward) and Canada. Because of Hopkin's age, this fight is "time sensitive"!

I think the plan will be groom stevenson into a big showdown....

            first was cloud fight

next will be bellow, who he should ko,,,

            then pascal/bute winner

then a big showdown with froch/hopkins/ward

One of the best matchups in Boxing, for sure.

Now as Adonis became such a big star, it would be difficult to make him come to Scotland to fight the likes of Bellew. At most, Adonis would accept a Bellew fight at the Bell Center in Montreal -- which HBO doesn't want...
                Bellew isn't Scottish....

Anyway, why won't HBO want another big fight in Montreal and I'm sure if the money is right, Stevenson could be tempted to fight in Liverpool. At the end of the day, this isn't a fight about tickets or location, Bellew is the mandatory, that fight has to happen or Stevenson must vacate his title. If he doesn't fight Bellew, he has to pay the scouser a step aside fee, if not him then HBO or who ever is involved in promoting him.

The only excuse for Bellew skipping the number one contender and one that will not have him lose his title is if he fights a unification against the likes of Kov/Hops. I love both those fights tbh but I'm just saying Bellew deserves this shot. He has worked for it.

Dan Rafael said Kovalev could be on the undercard.
Yeah Nov 30 has been mentioned in the UK as the Bellew date as well (I think it's his Birthday or summin' as well)

Kovalevs web site mentioned a possible fight in Canada and Duva said he'd definitely be fighting again this year.

Amusingly Artur Beterbiev also fought his first 2 pro fights on Stevensons last 2 undercards and I wouldn't be surprised if he's there on this one too. Artur Beterbiev is the guy who beat Kovalev to take the russian Olympic spot in the ams and is also a LHW. I know it's too early for him to fight Sergei, but I bet it'll be an interesting meeting.

Beterbiev BTW is looking very good so far. One to watch.
