    What a joke
On Mar 31st, 2012 -- The Ring website:

... "RingTV: Would you embrace being randomly tested?

Tim Bradley: Absolutely. Absolutely. I would embrace it. Hey, bring on the needles. You can come and check me every single day if you needed to. I would embrace a drug test any day. Any day of the week, you can come see me.
Any day of the week that you need to. Any day, week or month of the year, you can come and drug test me. It's all natural over here with Tim Bradley. Natural. God-given talent."

I like Bradley, I always have. I was a fan of his when he beat Junior Witter in his backyard, Bradley was not only highly skilled that night but he was determined. There's a lot that can be said for determination, it can move mountains, that's how Bradley survived against Eddison, Holt and Provodnikov...actually scratch that, he didn't just survive, he won. Sadly, Bradley will never have as large a fan base as he hopes for, due to two very different and very big reasons:
      1. He hasn't always made the fan friendly decision
      2. He knows deep down that he lost to Pacquiao, the fans know it and most of the press know it.

Let's look at the first point for a second, Bradley was the man at 140 but he skipped out on his biggest challenger in Amir Khan. Yes the argument made is that he was holding out for a big fight with either of Pac or Floyd. Add to that the abysmal night he had against Alexander (not his fault but it happened) and you have a guy who turns of casual fans. If you want to be a star in any sport, you have to attract the casuals.

That second point is quite self explanatory, Bradley immediately after the fight said that he wasn't sure if he had won and a lot of boxing journalists and former fighters that I respect and know had Pacquiao winning. 4 WBA (or was it WBO?) judges who were drafted in to review the fight all scored it for Pacquiao. Pacquiao out landed, out threw and out did Bradley in almost every department that night. Love the Pacman or hate him, you couldn't give Bradley more than 4 rounds.

I have a lot of respect for Thomas Hauser, but I'm surprised he picked Bradley as the winner AND said it was a fight that could have gone either way. Over the last decade, this, in terms of a bad decision is up there alongside Pacquiao/JMM 3. That's how clearly I think Pac won the fight.

Having said that, I like Bradley because I liked him before he became the big, wanabe star, because I remember as the young man who came across the pond and did the impossible. I hope he pulls it off big time against Marquez, I hope he wins clean, I hope he proves his doubters wrong and I hope that he gets a chance to fight Pacquiao again.

Bradley is hard working, professional, always classy and tough as nails in the ring, if you don't have a soft spot for him, you need a heart transplant.

Donaire has had 24/7, 365 testing for almost 2 years now. Donaire should be given mad props for what he has done. For all of Floyd's mouthing off about keeping the sport, he has done little to implement that and certain reports have dragged his name through the mud.

It's good to see that Bradley is going in and leading by example too. I'd like to see a couple British names start to do it too.

Didn't they find Love (from FMJr's stable) testing positive recently?

That would be awesome. Bradley is all business, I can image the stare down.

Plus why would he be bullied by the Mayweathers? He was P4P PPV champ. You're worth nothing if you allowed yourself to be bullied by thugs. Pinoy pride was at stake.

"Meanwhile, let it be noted that Bradley is (1) articulate, (2) good-looking, (3) inherently likable, (4) charismatic, and (5) a good family man. He (6) treats people with respect, (7) is undefeated, (8) is willing to go in tough, and (9) gives everything he has in training and during each fight. He’s also (10) an American. He has never been criminally convicted for beating up a woman. Nor has he been seen on YouTube giving oral *** to a stripper or sitting on a toilet in Popeye’s."

                  lol.

The fight wasn't close then, it wasn't close yesterday and it's hardly closer today. I like Tim, but he lost that fight by a wide margin.
