Lucas absolutely destroys Khan like nobodies business. Why are people talking as if Khan is some great master boxer? Hes an ambush fighter with no chin, a zip fighter. He may do decent for a few rounds but Lucas will catch him and when he goes, Khans a goner.

Lucas is not great at cutting off the ring, it's why he couldn't beat Devon or Zab.

Cutting off the ring doesn't necessarily mean pressuring them to the ropes. That's just casual perception. Matthysse stays at perfect length of his opponents, much like Golovkin, to get his shots off while not smothering himself and getting tangled. He doesn't allow them to stray too far. That's why you don't really see his opposition successfully implementing lateral movement.

Lucas would KO khan. Garcia was able to absorbed matthyse's punches because he is very underrated defensively, he was very good at rolling with lucas' punches and taking some of the steam off.

Khan has horrible defense and he does not know how to roll with punches. He is stiff as a board and when he get's hit he takes the full impact of the punch. His pitter pat punches would not have any effect on lucas who was able to take garcia's best shots and keep coming.

As much as i love Danny, Khan had him beat to a pulp until he got dropped, and danny outboxed Matthysse,
So if Khan can get some defense his speed will close both matthysse's eyes.
