    GGG vs Ward

Why do so many people think this fight would be a walk in the park for Ward?

IMO Ward is best P4P fighter in the world, but GGG is no mug. He'd give Ward one hell of a fight, that I am sure of. I wouldn't bet on a winner, but if I had to pick for the sake of it, I'd go for a very close win on points for Ward.

Also enough of this 'Ward is much bigger' nonsense. He's got about a 3/4 centimeter height advantage, you'd think it was about 30 by the way some go on about it though. His biggest advantage would be his speed and movement, not his height.

IMO Ward would outbox Golovkin in the early rounds, but GGG would start wearing him down after 7/8, just missing out on a win. It wouldn't surprised me if he KOed Ward late on though.

GGG looks good but he's faced no one. Ward isn't p4p n#1 not even close, overrated long dog face is more of a sumo wrestler than a boxer. If they do fight I hope GGG makes him do the stanky leg to make him and his moronic trainer cry

GGG is for the most part a relatively flat footed fighter. Ward is a master of distance control much like Mayweather and Hopkins. See what all three have done historically to flat footed opponents for your answer.

          1. Golovkin hasn't fought anyone, his third best win is Rosado who was fighting a welter a year before he fought Golovkin, anyone saying Golovkin has a respectable resume for someone about to be 32 is as liar.

          2. Some of Golovkin's best wins are vs 154 ponder while Ward easily handles 168 pounders

          3. We've seen endless hype jobs exposed, Golovkin hasn't done anything before this year his resume was Wilder level.

I don't know why are people so focused on resumes. Can't you see beyond that?

I agree that fighters would look better against lesser opponents (thought not always), but you can notice the quality regardless of opposition.

No, look at fighters on ESPN, Fox Sports 1 and NBC Sports and the second they step up they lose.

Look at Periban, the guy was one shotting guys on Fox Southwest and he steps up and Bika makes him look below average.

You might be thinking Golovkin fights better opponents but Rosado, Ishida, Ouma, Stevens and Proska have all lost to ESPN level fighters.

Ward has around 2 inches on GGG, anyways it's not really height that makes him too big, it's Ward's pure strength. This guy has bodied up and bullied guys like Kessler, Dawson, Froch, Abraham, all really strong guys. Practically every single one of his opponents has said they've been surprised by just how strong he is, I haven't seen him overpowered once.

The fighter that has a chance at beating Ward is a fast puncher that's also fast on their feet, a guy like Dirrell, and he's the only guy with that style.

You see Ward take an innuendo shot at Edwin Rodriguez last night ? A side dictates the stipulations, B side just takes it? He was speaking of the Chavez-Vera, but it was a response to the contentious negotiations with Rodriguez and his promoter .

Yeah but Ward came off the money, so not much of an A-side.
