Not sure if serious? "good for being an Olympic gold medalist" What does that even mean?

Am I reading this correctly?Two-time Olympic champion Vasyl Lomachenko is training hard at the Wild Card Gym in Hollywood, California. Lomachenko makes his pro debut, at featherweight, on October 12th at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. He faces Jose Ramirez on the Juan Manuel Marquez vs. Timothy Bradley HBO Pay-Per-View. Lomachenko hopes to face the winner of Orlando Salido vs. Orlando Cruz in his second bout. Salido-Cruz takes place on the same night, for the WBO featherweight title.

damn that's crazy, certainly this is the quickest a fighter was given a shot at a title...I can't even think of a fighter whose debut was a 10 rounder.
I can't believe they're fast-tracking a guy that is 25 years old.
Good for him though, if you got the skills, why fight a bunch of stiffs?Last edited by RlCKY; 09-28-2013, 11:10 AM.Comment
